The story behind the print

This unframed paper print features a badger walking upright while holding a glass jar of honey with a wooden dipper. The animal is rendered in textured black and cream fur markings, with a mustard yellow honey jar and an olive green background. Loose black brush marks suggest grass and foliage around the badger's feet.

The composition centres the badger in profile, facing right, with the honey jar held at chest height. The rough, painterly style uses visible brushstrokes and a limited palette of black, cream, mustard, and olive green. The badger's striped face and stocky body are clearly defined, while the background remains plain to keep the subject prominent.

Printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks, this print is rolled and packaged by hand. It is available in multiple sizes and is supplied unframed, so the frame is not included. The woodland animal design suits kitchen, pantry, or dining room walls.
