The story behind the print
This surreal poster depicts a black bird perched on a curling metal bracket, from which hangs a red and green lantern. The bird faces right, set between two tall textured buildings that frame a pale sky. Warm gold speckling across the left wall and lantern adds a subtle glow to the otherwise muted palette.
The composition is vertical and centred, with the bird and lantern acting as the focal point against a soft gradient background. The artwork combines illustrative and typographic elements, using deep black, red, green, and gold against a pale blue-grey sky. The lantern's red body and green top are clearly defined, while the metal bracket curves in a decorative scroll.
