The story behind the print
This black cat baking poster shows a dark feline with amber eyes and white whiskers resting its paws on a brick counter. Below the cat sits a ball of dough, a blue rolling pin, and a blue mixing bowl. The bold black typography reads 'Bake it till you make it', with a smaller red subtitle stating 'Made with pawsitivity and flour power'. The composition is portrait-oriented and centres on the cat and baking tools.
The artwork uses a warm palette of beige, black, terracotta, and blue. The cat's tail rises vertically behind the counter, while the brick pattern and simple shapes give the design a hand-printed, illustrative feel. The combination of a humorous slogan and kitchen objects makes it suited to a kitchen wall, dining area, or a gallery wall of cat prints. The typography is prominent and legible, acting as both the joke and the focal point.
