The story behind the print

This surreal art print shows three black cats seated inside a vintage-style car, each with pale green eyes. A large fish is tied to the roof with peach rope, creating an unusual and playful composition. The teal background and peach lower body give the scene a bold, graphic contrast.

The artwork uses a flat, illustrative style with textured colour blocks and strong outlines. The car has two visible windows, a black roof, and a peach lower panel, while the fish spans the width of the roof. This black cat car poster is printed on 270 gsm premium satin paper, which supports the crisp lines and solid colours of the design.

The print is supplied unframed, so the frame is not included. It is printed to order in the UK on a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer using authentic Mimaki OEM inks, then rolled and packaged by hand. It is available in multiple sizes through the Size selector. This surreal fish roof art print suits a hallway, living room, or gallery wall.
