The story behind the print

This black cat poster shows a seated cat in profile against a flat coral background. Pale pink flowers and small gold and teal dots are scattered across the cat's dark body, creating a bold contrast. The cat's white eyes and pointed ears are clearly defined, and its tail curls around the base of the composition.

The artwork uses a limited palette of black, coral, pale pink, gold, and teal. The flat, illustrative style has a hand-painted texture, with visible brush marks in the background and on the cat's silhouette. The portrait orientation and centred subject make it a strong focal point for a gallery wall or a standalone print.

This black cat poster is supplied unframed and printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer with authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in multiple sizes. The frame is not included.
