The story behind the print
This black cat poster shows a seated cat in profile, painted in a Japanese ink style with a solid dark silhouette and soft grey washes across the body. A small red seal sits at the lower right, and the cat's tail curls around the base. The composition is centred and vertical, with a warm beige background that keeps the monochrome subject prominent.
The artwork uses expressive brush-like textures and a limited palette of black, grey, and warm beige. The cat's ears, whiskers, and rounded back are clearly defined, while the lower body fades into lighter ink tones. This unframed paper print is suited to cat-themed gallery walls, living rooms, studies, or bedrooms where a calm, minimalist animal print is wanted.
The print is supplied unframed, so the frame is not included. It is printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in multiple sizes from the Size selector.
