The story behind the print
This black cat poster shows two stylised cats sitting side by side against a textured beige background. The cat on the left has large round eyes and a calm expression, while the cat on the right has narrow, angled eyes and a sharper look. Both are drawn as solid black silhouettes with thin white outlines and long whiskers, giving the design a bold, graphic quality.
The composition is centred and symmetrical, with the cats' tails curving outwards and red seal-like motifs behind them. The palette is limited to black, beige, and red, which reinforces the retro mid-century modern style. The artwork uses a block-print or screen-print effect, with visible grain and slight texture across the surface. This cat wall art is suited to living rooms, hallways, or gallery walls.
This print is supplied unframed, so the frame is not included. It is printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks.
