The story behind the print
This unframed paper print features a seated black fox in profile, painted with expressive ink wash on a warm beige background. The animal's pointed ears, dark body, and curled tail are rendered with visible brush texture, while a red seal and a vertical calligraphy mark sit in the upper right corner.
The composition is portrait-oriented and minimal, using a restrained palette of black, warm beige, and a single red accent. The fox's form is built from layered ink tones rather than fine detail, giving the artwork a quiet, illustrative character suited to Japanese-style or animal-themed interiors.
The frame is not included. Each print is produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer with authentic Mimaki OEM inks, then rolled and packaged by hand. It is available in the configured sizes shown in the Size selector.
