The story behind the print

This black rabbit ink print depicts a seated hare in profile, its long ears raised and its body formed from sweeping sumi-e brushstrokes. Deep black ink builds the head, back, and haunches, while lighter washes suggest the chest and belly against a warm neutral ground.

To the right of the rabbit, a single vertical calligraphic stroke and two red seal marks add a Japanese-inspired compositional balance. The monochrome palette and expressive ink texture give the design a quiet, graphic quality suited to studies, living rooms, and gallery walls.

Supplied unframed, this rabbit poster is printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer with authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in the configured sizes shown in the Size selector.
