The story behind the print
This floral wall art print features blue and red ink wash dragonflies, round lotus seed pods, and scattered red blossoms. Loose black brushwork forms stems and leaves across a white background, while soft blue washes and bright red accents create a lively contrast. The vertical composition places dragonflies above and beside the flowers, giving the design an airy, balanced feel.
The artwork combines botanical and insect subjects in an illustrative ink wash style. Blue circular forms suggest lotus pods, and red flowers with visible brush marks add warmth. The palette is dominated by blue, red, black, and white, with small ink splatters adding texture. This unframed paper print works well in living rooms, bedrooms, or studies where a calm, nature-led design is wanted.
