The story behind the print
This coastal village poster depicts a cluster of whitewashed buildings against a deep blue sky. A central domed tower with two blue windows anchors the composition, while a stylised yellow sun with radiating rays sits in the upper right. Blue floral motifs and a grid of blue squares decorate the lower buildings, adding pattern and rhythm to the scene.
The artwork uses a restricted palette of deep blue, warm yellow, and off-white, with a textured, block-print style that gives it a handcrafted feel. The flat, graphic shapes and lack of perspective create a bold, illustrative look. The vertical composition and simple forms make it easy to read from a distance, whether displayed in a kitchen, hallway, or living room.
This unframed print is produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks. It is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in multiple sizes, which can be selected from the Size selector. The frame is not included.
