The story behind the print
This unframed paper print features a bouquet of blue aster flowers and pale peach chrysanthemums rising on dark green stems. The blooms are set against a peach and lavender background, with a navy arched window and grid panel adding architectural detail. The composition balances the dense floral cluster with geometric shapes and textured surfaces.
The blue asters show layered petals and visible centres, while the chrysanthemums have softer, ruffled forms. Dark green leaves and stems anchor the arrangement, and a small patterned block at the base echoes the floral motif. The palette combines blue, peach, lavender, and navy, creating a graphic contrast between organic flowers and structured background elements.
