The story behind the print
This colourful botanical art print features two blue dragonflies hovering above a large blue flower with dark, pointed petals. A red flower with tall, slender petals and a yellow bloom with a red centre fill the composition, while a small beetle rests near the top. The cream background and visible brushstrokes give the piece a lively, painterly character.
The design uses a bold, illustrative style with flat areas of blue, red, yellow, and green. The dragonflies are detailed with delicate wings and thin bodies, contrasting with the broader floral shapes. The composition is balanced and busy, with each element placed to draw the eye across the print. This unframed paper poster suits a living room, bedroom, or hallway.
The frame is not included, and the print is produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper. It is printed with a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 using authentic Mimaki OEM inks, then rolled and packaged by hand. The Size selector shows the available sizes.
