The story behind the print
This botanical poster depicts five iris flowers arranged in a vertical composition. The blooms combine deep blue and warm orange petals with green buds and long, curving leaves. Each flower head shows a textured, mosaic-like pattern that gives the illustration a crafted, decorative feel.
The artwork uses a restrained palette of blue, orange, green, and cream. Slender stems with dashed markings rise from the base, while broad leaves arc outward to frame the blooms. The flat, graphic style and symmetrical layout recall traditional botanical illustration, making the floral subject the clear focus of the design.
This unframed print is produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks. It is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in multiple sizes. Please note that the frame is not included.
