The story behind the print
This blue mosaic tile poster centres on a cat peering over the edge of a tiled pool. The composition is built from small square tiles in varied blue and green tones, with dark plant shadows drifting across the water surface. A cream and blue geometric border runs down the left side, while green and cream patterned tiles frame the bottom edge.
The artwork uses a flat, illustrative style with visible brush marks and a palette dominated by blue, green, cream and tan. The cat appears at the top edge, looking down into the water, which gives the scene a quiet, observational mood. The tiling pattern and geometric borders recall Moroccan zellige and Mediterranean poolside design.
