The story behind the print
This blue silhouette poster centres on a vintage street lamp with two lit lanterns, framed by dense tree outlines on both sides. The deep blue evening sky and dark foreground create a strong graphic contrast, while the warm glow of the lamps adds a focal point. The composition is vertical and symmetrical, giving the scene a calm, balanced presence.
The artwork uses flat, shadowy shapes rather than fine detail, so the lamp, trees, and horizon read clearly at a distance. The deep blue background dominates the palette, with the pale yellow lanterns providing the only bright accents. This illustrative style suits a vintage street lamp print, evening wall art, or a blue-toned gallery wall.
This print is supplied unframed and the frame is not included. It is printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in multiple sizes.
