The story behind the print
This blue space poster depicts a satellite with two extended solar panels crossing the face of a full moon. The satellite sits at the centre of the composition, its rectangular body and dish antenna silhouetted against the pale lunar surface. Behind it, a solid navy background gives the scene a clean, graphic quality.
The moon shows soft grey and white tonal variation, while the satellite is rendered in pale blue and white with darker structural details. The horizontal solar arrays stretch evenly to either side, creating a balanced, symmetrical layout. The overall palette is cool and restrained, using deep blue, white, and grey to suggest a night-sky setting without additional stars or text.
This astronomy print is supplied unframed and produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer with authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and available in multiple sizes through the Size selector.
