The story behind the print
This blue tram poster centres on a stylised retro tram drawn in bold navy blue outlines against a soft off-white background. The vehicle features three tall front windows, a prominent orange sunburst motif on the lower panel, and wavy orange patterns along its side. Above, blue overhead wires angle across the composition, while a green Lisbon-style tower with a small dome and arched details sits in the upper right corner.
The artwork uses a limited palette of navy blue, orange, and green, giving it a graphic, illustrative quality. The tram is angled slightly to the left, creating a sense of movement along the tracks. Its flat colour blocks and hand-drawn line style recall vintage travel posters and mid-century printmaking, making it a distinctive piece for a hallway, office, or kitchen wall.
This tram print is supplied unframed, so the frame is not included. It is printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer with authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in multiple sizes through the Size selector.
