The story behind the print
This botanical chinoiserie wall art print arranges nine vertical panels of flowers, fruit, and insects within decorative borders. White lotus blooms rise against coral and sage grounds, while pink peonies, pine branches, gourds, and flowering twigs fill the remaining sections. Butterflies appear among the leaves, adding small points of contrast to the dense botanical pattern.
The composition uses a repeating grid layout that separates each motif into its own framed scene. Colours include coral pink, deep blue, forest green, cream, and soft yellow, with red stems and pale petals creating varied tonal rhythm. The illustrative style references traditional Asian floral painting, making the print suitable for a gallery wall, bedroom, or living space.
This floral bird poster is supplied unframed, so the frame is not included. It is printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks.
