The story behind the print

This cherry blossom picnic print depicts a winding path scattered with pink petals beneath dense blossom branches. A woven basket sits on a red, white, and blue striped blanket in the foreground, while dark green grasses frame the scene and a blue background suggests water or sky. The composition balances the heavy floral canopy with the open path and picnic setting.

Rendered in an illustrative style with visible brush-like marks, the artwork uses a soft palette of pink, blue, green, and cream. The falling petals and layered foliage create a gentle sense of movement, while the striped blanket adds a geometric contrast to the organic shapes. This floral landscape poster is suited to living rooms, hallways, or bedrooms.

Supplied unframed, the print is produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer with authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in multiple sizes through the Size selector.
