The story behind the print
This blue silhouette poster depicts a woman and a cat seated opposite each other at a chessboard. The woman leans forward with one hand extended towards the black pieces, while the cat sits upright on the opposite chair. A textured blue background surrounds the solid black figures, and the white chess pieces stand out against the dark board.
The artwork uses a limited palette of deep black and muted blue, with small white accents on the chess pieces. The composition is centred and vertical, with thin drawn chair legs and a subtle sketch-like quality in the woman's profile. The contrast between the rounded cat silhouette and the angular chessboard gives the scene a quiet, graphic tension.
This chess cat wall art is supplied unframed, so the frame is not included. It is printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in the configured sizes shown in the Size selector.
