The story behind the print
This chess piece wall art print presents a repeated grid of black and white chess silhouettes, including king, queen, knight, rook, bishop and pawn. Each piece sits inside its own coloured square, creating a chessboard-like composition across the full image.
The design uses a bold block palette of red, green, blue, orange, purple and teal, with the black and white pieces providing strong contrast. The flat illustrative style and vertical portrait format make the chess board poster suitable for a game room, study or living room wall.
This unframed paper print is produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks. It is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in multiple sizes shown in the Size selector.
