The story behind the print

This chess queen wall art print presents a solid navy blue queen silhouette centred in a portrait format. A small red crown motif sits above the piece, while the word QUEEN appears in bold serif capitals at the base. The cream background and dark blue figure create a strong graphic contrast.

The design uses clean geometric lines and a limited palette of navy, red, and cream. The queen is shown in profile with a rounded finial, flared collar, and stepped pedestal, and the typography reinforces the chess theme. This modern chess print suits game rooms, studies, and offices.

This chess queen poster is supplied unframed, so the frame is not included. It is printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer with authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in multiple sizes through the Size selector.
