The story behind the print
This unframed paper print features a large orange chilli pepper curving upward against a plain cream background. The vegetable is built from a mosaic of red, orange, and yellow tiles, with a green stem at the top and a pointed tip at the lower left. Below the chilli, the phrase 'You're Hot' appears in teal and red lettering, combining playful typography with a food-themed illustration.
The vertical composition centres on the chilli's curved form, which fills most of the frame and draws the eye from the stem down to the text. The warm palette of orange, red, and yellow contrasts with the cool teal of the word 'You're', while the cream background keeps the focus on the subject. The mosaic tile effect gives the pepper a textured, hand-painted look that suits kitchen and dining areas.
Printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks, this unframed print is rolled and packaged by hand. It is available in multiple sizes, which can be selected from the Size selector. The frame is not included.
