The story behind the print

This colourful koi fish poster presents a lively group of goldfish and koi arranged across a cream background. The fish display varied markings, including red and white checks, blue spots, orange scales, and dark speckled bodies, with flowing fins and tails that create a sense of movement throughout the vertical composition.

The Japanese-style illustration uses a bright palette of red, orange, blue, teal, and navy against the neutral ground. Each fish is distinct in pattern and pose, from a large red-and-white koi at the top to smaller blue and green fish near the bottom. The flat, graphic treatment and repeating shapes give the artwork a decorative, print-like quality suited to gallery walls or themed interiors.

This koi fish poster is supplied unframed, so the frame is not included. It is printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer with authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in multiple sizes through the Size selector.
