The story behind the print
This colourful pickle character poster shows a lively group of hand-drawn gherkins in green, yellow, and red against a plain cream background. Each pickle has simple line-drawn faces, stick-like arms and legs, and small squiggle marks that give the group a playful, animated feel. The composition is tightly clustered and vertical, with the figures overlapping and reaching upward across the frame.
The artwork relies on flat blocks of colour and loose black outlines rather than shading or texture, creating a bold illustrative look. The dominant palette of leaf green, mustard yellow, and muted red is balanced by the neutral backdrop, while the varied poses and expressions keep the arrangement visually busy. This unframed paper print works as a light-hearted food-themed piece for a kitchen or dining area.
Supplied unframed, the print is produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks. It is rolled and packaged by hand and available in multiple sizes through the Size selector.
