The story behind the print
This colourful wildflower meadow poster depicts a dense cluster of tall poppies, seed pods and grasses in pink, purple, orange, red, yellow and blue against a pale beige background. The vertical composition places large open blooms beside slender stems and closed buds, with small scattered dots adding texture across the upper area.
The artwork uses a hand-painted illustrative style with visible brush marks and layered petals. Each flower head sits on a long dark stem, while green and gold leaves fill the lower half. The palette mixes warm reds and oranges with cool purples and blues, giving the meadow a lively but balanced appearance.
