The story behind the print
This retro sci-fi poster depicts a cowboy on a rearing dark horse, swinging a lasso upward toward a hovering silver UFO. A zigzag beam of light connects the craft to the lasso, while a second figure walks across the flat yellow desert ground near distant brown mountains.
The design uses a bold, limited palette of coral pink, mustard yellow, black, and off-white. The UFO's metallic saucer shape and the horse's dynamic pose create a striking contrast between Western and science-fiction imagery. The composition is centred and vertical, with the action unfolding across the full height of the frame.
Supplied unframed, this print is produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer with authentic Mimaki OEM inks. It is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in multiple sizes from the Size selector.
