The story behind the print

This unframed paper print features a black and tan dachshund lying on cream bed linen, its head resting low between two soft pillows. The dog is centred in the composition, with loose sketch lines defining the folds of the duvet and the simple bed frame below. Warm neutral tones and the dark coat create a quiet, domestic scene.

The artwork uses an illustrative, sketch-like style with visible pencil or ink outlines and subtle watercolour washes. The cream bedding dominates the palette, while the black and tan dog provides contrast and a clear focal point. The portrait orientation and simple composition keep attention on the resting animal and the texture of the linen.

Printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer with authentic Mimaki OEM inks, this dachshund wall art is supplied unframed and rolled and packaged by hand. It is available in multiple sizes through the Size selector.
