The story behind the print
This mountain print depicts a dark, rocky peak rising beside a large cream sun, with a black cabin and pine trees in the foreground. The composition sets the cabin against a pale sky and a band of golden ground, creating a strong contrast between the solid black shapes and the warm background. The artwork uses a limited palette of olive, cream, black, and blue-grey, giving it a calm, modern feel.
The design relies on flat, illustrative shapes rather than fine detail, with the mountain and trees rendered as bold silhouettes. A small square window in the cabin provides the only geometric interruption in the dark foreground, while the distant snow-capped mountain adds depth. The vertical orientation and simple layout make this landscape poster suitable for a living room, bedroom, or hallway.
