The story behind the print

This flatfish art print shows a side-on fish with an olive green body, black head and fins, and two dark spots near the centre. A teal rectangular block sits behind the upper body, adding a clean colour contrast. The fish is angled diagonally, with a pale outline separating it from the background.

The design uses a textured, block-print style with visible grain across the olive and teal areas. The fish's tail is rendered in fine parallel lines, while the head and fins are solid black. The vertical composition places the fish centrally, with the teal block extending behind the top half. The palette is limited to olive green, black, teal, and a warm cream background.

This unframed paper print is produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer with authentic Mimaki OEM inks. It is rolled and packaged by hand and available in multiple sizes through the Size selector. The frame is not included.
