The story behind the print

This unframed paper print features a black cat with a long, curved tail and pointed ears, standing against a muted pale green background. The cat's back is covered in a dense pattern of cream daisies with mustard centres, interspersed with smaller pink and blue flowers. The cat's face is visible at the bottom, with narrow white eyes and a small pink nose.

The composition is centred and portrait-oriented, with the cat's tail arching above its body. The contrast between the solid black silhouette and the delicate floral pattern creates a striking visual balance. The artwork is illustrative in style, with a hand-drawn quality to the flowers and a flat, graphic approach to the cat's form.

Printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer with authentic Mimaki OEM inks, this print is supplied unframed and available in multiple sizes. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand. The frame is not included.
