The story behind the print
This folk art rabbit and orange tree poster centres on two white rabbits facing each other across a rounded vase. Symmetrical orange trees rise behind them, bearing round fruit and green leaves, while butterflies and small floral motifs fill the upper background. The composition is balanced and decorative, with a clear vertical axis.
Rendered in an illustrative folk style, the artwork uses a warm palette of ochre, olive green, orange, and cream. The rabbits sit upright on a green ground line, with a red border framing the scene. The vase holds a stylised flower, and the surrounding blooms add depth without disrupting the flat, graphic quality of the design.
