The story behind the print

This fox and pine tree poster shows a black running fox above a leaping fox, framed by two stylised fir trees and a central oval containing a small moon and a single pine. The animals are printed in solid black with tan underbelly and leg details, set against an oatmeal background with green foliage and ochre accents.

The composition is symmetrical and vertical, with the foxes facing opposite directions and the trees balanced on either side. The artwork has a woodcut or linocut appearance, using flat shapes, visible texture, and a restricted palette of black, tan, green, and cream. Small star motifs sit beside the trees, reinforcing the outdoor night theme.

This unframed paper print is produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks. It is rolled and packaged by hand and available in multiple sizes through the Size selector. The frame is not included.
