The story behind the print
This unframed paper print features a dark green frog perched on the rim of a black-and-white floral teacup. The frog's spotted back and round eye are rendered in navy, while the cup below is decorated with bold leaf and flower motifs. Behind the cup, white blossoms and leaves rise against an olive green background, and small mushrooms sit at the base of the composition.
The artwork uses a linocut-inspired illustrative style with flat, graphic shapes and a limited palette of olive green, navy, cream, and white. The frog's pose on the cup handle creates a playful focal point, while the botanical pattern on the teacup echoes the flowers in the background. This animal and botanical poster works well in a kitchen, dining room, or living space.
