The story behind the print
This monochrome frog silhouette print depicts two dark tree frogs in a climbing pose against a textured cream and black background. The larger frog sits near the centre with splayed limbs, while a smaller frog appears below, creating a layered composition. The image uses strong light and shadow to define the frogs' outlines and the diagonal bands of the background.
The artwork relies on a high-contrast palette of deep black and warm cream, with a grainy texture that gives the surface a tactile, almost photographic quality. The silhouettes are sharp and simplified, focusing on the frogs' distinctive limb shapes and climbing posture. This graphic approach makes the print suitable for modern, minimalist, or nature-inspired interiors.
