Frog Umbrella Poster | Japanese Animal Wall Art | Green Rain Print
This Japanese frog poster shows a green, black-spotted frog sheltering under a peach and orange umbrella. The story behind the print
This Japanese frog poster shows a green, black-spotted frog sheltering under a peach and orange umbrella. Rain falls in fine vertical lines across an olive-grey background, while the frog grips the umbrella handle with both front feet. The centred vertical composition places the amphibian low in the frame, giving the umbrella canopy space above it.
The artwork uses a woodblock-inspired illustrative style with visible linework and flat colour areas. Warm orange and peach tones in the umbrella contrast with the frog's green body and cream underside, while the muted background keeps the subject prominent. A small red seal sits in the lower right corner, adding a traditional print detail.
This frog umbrella print is supplied unframed, so the frame is not included. It is printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in the configured sizes shown in the Size selector.
