The story behind the print
This humorous cat poster features a white cat raising a glass of red drink, with bold Chinese characters stacked vertically on the left. The cat's half-closed eyes and slight smirk give the illustration a dry, knowing expression, while the cream background keeps the focus on the figure and the red liquid. The artwork is an unframed paper print suited to kitchens, home bars, and casual living areas.
The composition is portrait-oriented, with the cat's raised arm and glass forming a strong vertical line that balances the red typography. The palette is limited to cream, white, and red, and the drawing uses clean outlines with subtle shading on the cat's ears and face. The Chinese characters add a graphic, typographic element that reinforces the poster's playful tone. This cat print works well in gallery walls or as a standalone piece in social spaces.
The print is supplied unframed and produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper. It is printed with a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer using authentic Mimaki OEM inks, then rolled and packaged by hand. It is available in multiple sizes, which can be selected from the Size selector.
