The story behind the print
This Good Luck shrimp poster centres on a single coral prawn set against a textured navy blue background. The crustacean curves downward with long antennae and visible legs, while the bold GOOD LUCK lettering sits below in a dark sans-serif typeface. The limited palette of navy, coral and cream gives the design a retro, print-like quality.
The composition uses a vertical portrait format with the shrimp occupying the upper section and the typography anchored at the base. A distressed, grainy texture runs across the navy field, adding a vintage poster feel without obscuring the subject. The coral tones of the prawn contrast sharply with the deep blue, keeping the image legible from a distance.
Supplied unframed, this print is produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer with authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in multiple sizes through the Size selector.
