The story behind the print
This humorous illustration poster depicts a green cat sitting outside a bathroom door, with a toilet visible through the gap and a roll of toilet paper beside it. The text 'YOU STILL IN THERE? ' appears in bold, black capitals at the bottom, adding a relatable, comic touch to the scene. The composition is centred and vertical, with the cat's deadpan expression and the dark green curtain creating a distinctive, quirky image.
The artwork uses a limited palette of dark green, olive, and white, with an orange floor section adding contrast. The cat's fur is detailed with short, vertical line strokes, while the curtain features similar linear texture. The typography is simple and legible, reinforcing the joke without overwhelming the illustration. This green cat print would suit a bathroom, hallway, or any space where a light-hearted, conversational piece is welcome.
