The story behind the print

This green damselfly wall art presents three long-bodied insects in flight around dark botanical stems and pale green citrus slices. The composition pairs fine wing detail with solid black silhouettes of seed heads and slender stalks, creating a high-contrast insect print on a cream ground.

The artwork uses a restrained palette of olive green, black, and cream. Circular citrus forms sit behind the damselflies, while open umbel flower heads and closed buds anchor the lower half. The illustrative style combines entomological observation with graphic botanical shapes, giving the piece a modern, nature-led character.

Supplied unframed, this print is produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand, and it is available in multiple sizes through the Size selector.
