The story behind the print
This green flatfish poster features a single olive-green fish angled diagonally across a textured navy-blue background. Dark spots run along the lower body, and a cream outline separates the fish from the deep blue field, giving the design a bold, graphic presence. The flatfish is shown from above, with a fan-shaped tail and a small eye near the lower left.
The composition relies on strong contrast between the olive fish and the navy background, with a speckled, print-like texture across both areas. The cream border and simplified anatomy keep the image direct and modern, while the dark spots add visual rhythm along the body. This is a modern fish wall art print for anyone who wants a marine subject without a traditional nautical look.
