The story behind the print

This green leek vegetable poster features a single leek with pale green leaves and a white stalk, drawn with bold black outlines against a pale blue background. The composition is vertical and centred, with the leek curving gently from top to bottom. A small black square in the lower right corner contains a white kanji character.

The illustration uses a limited palette of pale green, white, black, and pale blue. The leek leaves are rendered with fine parallel lines that suggest texture, while the stalk is smooth and pale. The bold outlines give the design a graphic, almost woodcut-like quality. This unframed paper print is produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks.

Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in multiple sizes through the Size selector. The frame is not included. The design suits kitchen walls, dining areas, or a gallery wall of food-themed prints.
