The story behind the print

This unframed paper print presents a surreal botanical illustration centred on a green pear-headed figure. The character wears a draped, leaf-like green cloak over a yellow skirt and holds a yellow watering can with a spiral shell design. A slender arm and legs with green leaf shoes complete the figure, while a purple iris and tall dark green stems frame the composition against a cream background.

The artwork uses a restrained palette of olive green, mustard yellow, soft purple, and cream. The pear-shaped head and spiral watering can create a distinctive silhouette, while the iris and stems add botanical context. The flat, illustrative style and simple shapes give the piece a whimsical, storybook quality that suits a range of interior settings.

Printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks, this unframed print is rolled and packaged by hand. It is available in multiple sizes, which can be chosen from the Size selector. The design works well as a standalone piece or grouped with other botanical and surreal prints.
