The story behind the print
This botanical illustration print depicts four stylised poppy flowers with sage-green petals and dark navy centres. Each bloom is outlined with a thin orange line, and the stems are drawn in olive green. The flowers are arranged in a loose, natural composition against a plain cream background, giving the artwork a clean, modern feel.
The design uses a limited palette of sage green, navy, orange, and cream, with fine dark lines suggesting petal veins. The hand-drawn quality of the stems and the flat, graphic shapes create a contemporary botanical style. The portrait orientation and centred composition make it suitable for a range of wall spaces.
This unframed print is produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks.
