The story behind the print
This green pufferfish poster centres on a round, spiky fish with a pale red and white belly, small dark eyes, and a tiny frown. A red and white striped cap sits on top of its head, while short fins extend from the sides and base. The fish is framed by a bold green border made of short, hand-drawn dashes on a cream background.
The illustration uses a limited palette of forest green, cream, and muted red, with fine red dashes across the fish's belly. Its simple, expressive face and rounded shape give the design a playful, character-led feel. The hand-drawn border adds a graphic frame that suits nursery walls, bathrooms, or kitchen corners.
This unframed paper print is produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks. Each print is rolled and packaged by hand and is available in multiple sizes through the Size selector.
