The story behind the print
This unframed paper print features a hedgehog walking through a dense wildflower meadow. Pink and orange blooms surround the animal, while tall purple and white flowers rise behind it against a deep green background. The painterly illustration uses visible brushstrokes and layered colour to build a textured, garden-like scene.
The composition places the hedgehog near the centre, with its speckled spines and small dark eyes standing out against the soft floral palette. Pink, orange, purple, white and green dominate the image, creating a bright but natural colour balance. The style is illustrative and decorative, suited to cottagecore, nature-led and whimsical interiors.
