The story behind the print

This heron wall art print shows a dark bird in profile standing on a mass of stylised green and navy clouds. The heron has a long neck, slender legs and a finely drawn wing, set against a warm orange background. The swirling cloud forms create a layered, graphic frame around the bird.

The Japanese cloud print uses a limited palette of green, navy and orange, with the bird rendered in near-black. The vertical composition places the heron low and right, while the cloud bank rises along the left side. The flat, illustrative style gives the bird poster a calm, decorative feel suited to a bedroom, living room or hallway.

This unframed paper print is produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer and authentic Mimaki OEM inks. It is rolled and packaged by hand and available in the configured sizes shown in the Size selector.
