The story behind the print
This Japanese crane poster shows a dark bird silhouette with a long beak and trailing head plume, standing on thin legs against a blue textured sky. Rounded peach clouds and two clusters of green spiral motifs frame the crane, creating a balanced vertical composition. The print uses a limited palette of navy, green and pale orange for a calm, graphic look.
The crane faces left with its neck extended, while the green spiral shapes echo cloud or foliage forms across the upper left and lower left corners. The background has a subtle paper-like texture, and the bird's wing feathers are drawn with fine white lines. This unframed paper print suits a living room, bedroom or study wall where a nature-led, illustrative style is wanted.
The print is supplied unframed and produced to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper. It is printed with a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer using authentic Mimaki OEM inks, then rolled and packaged by hand. It is available in the configured sizes shown in the Size selector.
