The story behind the print
This Japanese goldfish poster presents twelve goldfish arranged across a cream background, each shown in a different pose and orientation. The fish display deep green and teal bodies with cream bellies, red head caps, and gold speckles. A vertical column of calligraphy and a red seal appear in the upper left corner. The composition reads as a traditional fish study, with the goldfish varying in size and direction to create a balanced, floating arrangement.
The artwork uses an illustrative style with fine line work and flat colour fills. The dominant palette of green and teal is offset by cream and small red accents. The goldfish are depicted with flowing fins and tails, some angled upward and others swimming horizontally. This fish wall art print suits living rooms, offices, or gallery walls, and the unframed format allows for flexible framing to match existing decor.
This print is supplied unframed and the frame is not included. It is printed to order in the UK on 270 gsm premium satin paper using a 12-colour Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer with authentic Mimaki OEM inks.
